StashGrade Ops
The app finds it. We fix it.
StashGrade Ops is the services arm of StashGrade: a fractional technology team for fence and specialty contractors. We evaluate what you are running, pick the software that actually fits, build and connect it, automate the work between the phone call and the paid invoice, train your people on it, and keep the numbers underneath it clean.
We do not sell software. That is the point: nothing we recommend pays us a commission for recommending it.
Ongoing
Fractional CTO
A technology leader on your side of the table every month, without a technology leader’s salary. We own the roadmap, run the vendors, keep the stack working as you grow, and you have someone to call before you sign anything.
What we do
Engage any one of these on its own, or run them in order. Most owners start with the assessment.
Assess
Technology & Operations Assessment
We walk your business the way it actually runs: estimating, sales, the field, project management, customer service, the books. You get back what is costing you money and what is missing. Everything else starts here, and the price is credited toward whatever you decide to fix.
Select
Vendor-Neutral Software Selection
We do not sell software, so we have no reason to point you at the wrong one. We shortlist the platforms that fit how your crews work, your team, and your budget, run the demos with you, and tell you which one to buy and why.
Architect
Systems Architecture & Integration Design
Most contractors do not have a software problem, they have six tools that do not talk. We design the stack: what holds which record, what feeds what, and where a number comes from when two systems disagree.
Implement
Implementation & Integration
Done-for-you setup, under the StashGrade Launch playbooks: installed, configured with your real data, connected to everything else, and validated on your real jobs before you rely on it. A defined list with an end.
Automate
Workflow Design & Automation
The path from a phone call to a paid invoice, built once and built right: lead routing, follow-up that happens without anyone remembering, scheduling, closeout, invoicing. The work that used to depend on someone being on the ball now happens on its own.
Train
Training & Adoption
Software nobody uses is worse than no software. We train your people on the setup they actually have, write the internal documentation, and put the habits and accountability in place so it is still being used six months later.
Run the numbers
Bookkeeping, Monthly Close & Succession
The books side of the same job: categorization corrected in QuickBooks, a chart of accounts built for how you actually build, a monthly close you can run the business on, and diligence-grade numbers years before you sell.
How it works
StashGrade reads your books and your connected tools, and flags what is costing you money, accuracy, or valuation.
Each flagged item carries a fix: a service, quoted from your own numbers, inside the app.
Book a conversation. We scope it together, and the work is done for you.
Quotes are computed from your own business and shown inside StashGrade, so the price fits the actual size of the job. Messier books cost more; light fixes cost less.
StashGrade Ads
Advertising measured in signed jobs
Most agencies report clicks and form fills. We report what a signed job cost you, because that is the number that decides whether the advertising paid.
- We run your Google Ads account, end to end.
- You approve every change before it goes live.
- Reported in cost per signed job, every month.
The monthly report
What you spent, what you signed, what a signed job cost, and what we changed. Written in plain words.
